Releasat

Releasat® biological indicator culturing sets combine biological indicators and culture media. Incubation time is reduced from from 7 days to as little as 24 hours. Specially formulated soybean casein digest culture medium containing a colour indicator changes dramatically when spores grow.

Releasat^® culture sets are available for monitoring industrial steam, ethylene oxide, HPV and dry heat sterilisation processes. The color indicator provides visual results within 24 hours (STEAM/HPV) or 72 hours (EO/DRY HEAT) compared to the standard seven days.

Releasat^® medium is used to culture the SGMStrip in place of "generic" soybean casein digest medium and provides a more rapid read-out. Each lot of Releasat® culture tubes are quality control tested with appropriate SGMStrips®.
